My husband, Paul Adinolfi, was lost at sea off the Standley in June 1972. He was in the helicopter squadron. I'd love to hear any memories anyone might have or see photos.

I reported to the ship Feb 1969 as an E4 (sonar) and spent 5 years on it, leaving Jan 1973 as E6 (and a discharge from the Navy). Lots of memories, good and bad! Lots of sailing--3 Med cruises, 2 Westpacs, 1 Around the World cruise. Got to see many places I'll never visit again courtesy of the Navy.
